Overview

For this project, we designed a printed poster to promote a design lecture of a well known designer. The poster could either be inspired by the designer, or could feature a unique brand identity for the Design Lecture Series organization. We were given a list of information to include on the poster, including

Organizer name
Event title
Event date, time, and location
Short event description
Admission price
Call to action with website or contact information (i.e., how to get a ticket)

Approach

Over the course of a three weeks we brought in 2-3 variations of our posters, receiving and then utilizing feedback to improve and iterate on previous designs. Critique sessions focused on all aspects of the posters, including composition, color, and typography
